Kindergarten Registration Information
Beavercrest Community School is a site for All Day/ Every Day Kindergarten / Early Learning Program. We will have a parent information meeting on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 6:30 pm. Next September public elementary schools across Ontario will begin following a five-day instructional day cycle. The Tuesday after Labour Day (Sept. 7) will be Day 1, with the subsequent days following through the five-day rotation, exclusive of holidays and PD days.
With the all day every day kindergarten (or Early Learning Program) at Beavercrest, our Junior and Senior Kindergarten class will follow this same five-day instructional day cycle.
We think that once the initial adjustment period has passed, parents will find this schedule easier to follow.
We realize these changes may present some challenges for parents and daycare providers, but they will allow for consistency of programming throughout the school year. If you have questions or require further information please contact us.
